I am a Finnish Live artist, who works in performance art, photography, video and pedagogy.
My performances have been presented in a number of contexts in Finland and internationally in performance art festivals in Canada, Russia, Spain, Germany, Poland, Great Britain, Belgium, Norway and Estonia.
The latest performance “Airplane!” tells a story of one plane during one flight, which is full of turbulences both in the air and in life. The performance will take the audience to the flight through the exciting effects, that the global warming has to our climate and atmosphere. When the plane sets off to the adventure towards the planned destination, it will never be sure where it ends up. At the same time the performance will tell a personal story of one airhostess. As she knows, there is no destiny defined by a priori, there are only different aspects in life, different people, places, incidents and feelings that intertwine with each other through the contingency of chaos.
